Kudos for ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski for inspiring me to do a quarter pole NHL Awards preview after a chat over the weekend. This comes with the caveat that it’s still way, way early in the NHL regular season and so much can change, but this gives you a flavor of what one NHL Awards voter is looking at a bit more than 25 percent of the way into the season.
