Brazeau Coming Up Big in Boston Bruins Debut
Unheralded and undrafted, the 26-year-old power forward has worked his way up to the NHL level before scoring in his Bruins debut
Full credit to the Boston Bruins pro scouting staff and their development folks for what appears to be a very good find in 26-year-old Justin Brazeau.
The 6-foot-5 winger went undrafted in large part because of his skating as a junior hockey player, but that didn’t stop him from topping 60 goals and 110 points for the OHL’s North Bay Battalion in his final junior hockey season as a 20-year-old. He was signed to the Maple Leafs organization where he bounced between the ECHL and the Toronto Marlies without truly gaining any traction before signing with the Bruins organization a couple of seasons ago.
